The council has notified that the road between Midmar and Lyne of Linton will be subject to a rolling road closure for 5 days, starting Friday 20th Nov 2026.
The suggested diversion is shown below.

“Please note that due to Installation of new duct to be carried out by Go Fibre/L3 Optics it
will be necessary in the interests of public safety to apply the following restriction to traffic.
ROLLING ROAD CLOSURE (EXCEPT ACCESS)

C142c Midmar, AB51 5NJ
From the junction with C141c Lyne of Linton to the junction with U144c Newton of
Corsindae.

From 20 November 2026 for 5 days
Diversion via B9119 to C141c, C141c to C142c and vice versa.

Access will be provided for emergency vehicles and vehicles requiring access to properties
but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe
passage through the works.
Site notices will be erected in due course indicating the temporary restriction to traffic and the alternative
routes where applicable.
