Update 10th Dec 2025 – The council have extended the closure date to Friday 19th Dec 2025.

Note the length of closure – significant potential disruption for those affected.
The council has notified that the Cluny-Kemnay Road will be closed between Woodend and Tillysoul (perhaps better known as the section with the sharp bends and subsiding road).
The closure is to allow “Drainage Works”, though the work should see the repair of the subsidence on the eastbound carriageway. The work is being completed by Aberdeenshire Council.
