Note the length of closure – significant potential disruption for those affected.
The council has notified that the Cluny Crossroads to Monymusk Road will be closed between Gardeners Cottage and Broomhead from Friday 1st August to Friday 12th September 2025 (a period of six weeks).
The closure is to allow masonry repair work to be completed on the section of the wall there that collapsed due to flooding.
Access will be provided for emergency vehicles and vehicles requiring access to properties, but may be subject to delay until the road is cleared of construction plant to allow safe passage through the works.
